Missionaries HAB Supports

As of April, 2007, HAB monthly funds six young adult missionaries committed to building night and day prayer in the USA. Our goal is to be able to substantially fund many more.

Ian & Jocelyn Barker

Website | Email

Ian and Jocelyn are on staff at IHOP-KC. Ian hails from Toronto, Canada, and Jocelyn is from Southington, Connecticut. They met each other in 2003 when they moved to Kansas City to complete a 4-year degree at the Forerunner School of Ministry. In 2005-06, they were Core leaders with the One Thing internship under Wes' leadership for one year. They helped lead young adults into a life of prayer and discipleship. They were married in 2006, and graduated from FSM in May of 2007.

Ian is a full-time staff member who is a Section Leader at the Justice Prayer Room (IHOP's second Prayer Room), and serves at FSM as an administrator and a teaching assistant. Jocelyn is a part-time staff member and is going to school full-time for a Nursing degree. Their desire is to help build the prayer movement and see the Church come to maturity internationally. They long to see the Lord glorified in the earth and the first commandment put in first place. For the rest of their days, they will give themselves to serving the Lord through intercession, healing, acts of compassion, teaching, and discipling.

Luke & Leah Wood

Luke and Leah are full-time Intercessory Missionaries at IHOP-KC. Luke is originally from Kansas City, and Leah is from Michigan. Luke is a primary worship leader in the evenings with six 2-hour sets a week. He and his worship team have been serving the House of Prayer for 4 years. Along with leading in the Prayer Room, Luke travels with the onething team leading worship at young adult conferences across the nation. He has recorded 2 CDs, one called "EP", and a full-length album, The Law & the Prophets

Leah is an intercessor in the prayer room and helps administrate the nearly 500 intercessors who are scheduled 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. She is a pillar in the House of Prayer as an example of faithfulness and steadiness in the place of prayer. Leah was an intern in the first One Thing Internship that I began to help lead in January of 2005. They are planning to remain at the House of Prayer indefinitely.
